There’s a saying that “everything in dentistry is new for 10 years,” meaning when a revolutionary new product category is introduced to the dental market, it takes a minimum of 10 years for the industry to actually embrace it and make it mainstream.
That’s a bold opening statement, but I’m sticking to it. Computer-aided design (CAD)/computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) is taking over dentistry.
